Clearly, Jackson's lifestyle and success brought him a lot of stress that anyone would have a hard time handling. He became secluded and shut himself out from the world, granting sparse media access and producing very little new music.
Jackson's glory days occurred more than 20 years ago and while he's never been the same ever since, he produced some decent music earlier this decade. It was rumored that another album was in the works, but expectations were nowhere nearly as high as they would have been at his peak.
