With Halloween on the way, it's time to think about getting your costume. Many people have a hard time deciding what to be, and don't end up getting their costumes until the very last minute.
Unfortunately, many stores are sold out of the good costumes by the time this comes around, leaving you in a situation where you either have to get creative or end up with something you never really wanted to begin with. Everyone wants to avoid this whenever possible, but our busy lives and our indecisiveness sometimes get in the way.
Anyway, I'd like to make your job easy this year so I'm going to share a few different thoughts as far as Halloween costumes go.
First of all, I think that this is as good a year as any to dress up as Michael Jackson. You won't be alone in donning this costume, as I'm sure many will follow suit.
The great thing about a Jackson costume is the many different eras you can choose from. You can choose an earlier Michael costume, or an outfit based on his later years.
If you don't like the idea of dressing up as Michael Jackson, you can always dress up as our president. Expect to see many Barack Obama Halloween costumes this season, not to mention the handful of Michelle outfits we'll probably see as well.
If you don't like either of the ones mentioned above and prefer to go with something a little less conventional, why not dress up as Susan Boyle? You can even have some fun along the way, singing the verses that made her famous.
