Alcohol tests are being used by different entities to be able to detect whether a person is under the influence of alcohol or not. They may be for the following reasons:

4. Saliva alcohol test - this is more expensive than urine alcohol test and there is lesser chances of tampering to occur. However, there is no accepted level of cutoff for this test in a national level so it cannot be accepted as an evidence in any court of law.
5. Hair alcohol test - this is fast becoming a popular alcohol test since it has a lot of positive aspects as compared to other alcohol tests. Traditional alcohol testing methods would normally just detect alcohol consumption of about four (4) weeks give or take, but this would allow alcohol to be detected even after 6 months. Also, a one-time test would be sufficient for this while for others, they should be done on a regular basis, making the expenses add up.
